If you’re interested in developing your own IOSH-approved safety and health training course, we can help you with our Tailored Course approval service.

Many companies are running safety and health awareness courses they've developed themselves. These include:

• Tailored versions of one of IOSH's standard titles – Safety for Executives and Directors, Supervising safely, Managing safely and Working safely.
• Versions of our standard titles, such as IOSH Managing safely, which have been adapted to cover a specific industry such as construction, or a specific organisation.
• Completely bespoke courses, such as induction courses designed to meet the needs of particular organisations, or specific courses aimed at OSH practitioners.

We'll consider any safety and health course, for any delivery format, and work with you to help your course gain IOSH approval. However, before you start writing your tailored course, please ensure you have a copy of our Tailored Training Course Standards document – this will guide you through what we require from you.
